Hall Hire Terms & Conditions

  1. All applications for the hire must be made through the bookings secretaries Ceri Norton or Gillian Cranefield.
  2. The hirer must be over the age of 18 at the time of booking.
  3. Provisional bookings will be held for seven days only.
  4. No alcohol is permitted on the premises at any time.
  5. The Trustees reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time, in which case the hirer would be given four weeks notice whenever and wherever possible, but the Trustees will not be responsible for loss of any estimated income or other expenses sustained by the hirer resulting from such cancellation. The pre-paid hire charge will be refund on these occasions.
  6. The Trustees shall not be held responsible for any loss to the hirer due to any breakdown of machinery, failure of supply of electricity, leakage of water, fire, government restriction, act of God or other circumstances, which may cause the halls to be temporarily closed, or the hiring to be interrupted or cancelled.
  7. The Trustees will not be responsible for any loss of property, injury to persons or any other claim sustained as a result of the hire.
  8. The hirer must indemnify the Trustees against any damage to, or loss of property, or injury to persons, however this damage might be caused as a result of the hire.
  9. The hirer must give right of entry to Police Officers during the period of hire.
  10. At no time will the hirer be given hall keys, the keys will remain in the caretakers possession at all times.
  11. The bookings secretaries or other duly authorised officer or Trustee member shall at all times be given full access to all services with power to issue directives to the hirer in compliance with regulations governing any hire.
  12. The hirer must not sub let the hall or any part thereof or use the hall for any purpose other than for which the same is hired, or assign the benefit or burden of the hire assignment.
  13. The hirer must leave the hall in a tidy condition. The hirer must remove all property belonging to him and all refuse which may have accumulated on the premises, as a result of the hire, and on the hirer’s default, the Trustees shall be entitled to remove and clear the same and the cost thereof shall be a debt from the hirer to the Trustees and recoverable place.
  14. If there is any change to your contract this must be advised one month prior to this taking place.
  15. We will need to have copies of your Indemnity Policy and Public Liabilities Policy. Also a copy of the teachers CRB numbers.
  16. The hirer will not be permitted to use the premises for any illegal or immoral purposes.
  17. No smoking is permitted on the premises or on site around the premises at any time.
  18. Due to previous experiences, no hall hire is available to other Church groups not in association with TCF.
  19. The Trustees reserve the right to refuse any application for hire.
